Folsom High School trailed at one point 35-6 and eventually dropped the Sac Joaquin Section 1-A Championship game 56-25 to St Mary's of Stockton at Sacramento State on Dec. 3, 2016.
Folsom saw its impressive 19-game section win streak end. The Folsom Bulldogs finished the season 12-2 while St. Mary's ended up losing the state title game two weeks later.
